The NYU MPH curriculum offers an innovative and interdisciplinary approach to public health education. All students in the program embark in a rigorous study of public health that includes:

  • core public health competencies which serve as a foundation for further coursework in the student's chosen concentration
  • a range of courses within a particular area of concentration, allowing for more in-depth study
  • practice-based experiences which allow for the application of knowledge and skills in real-world settings
  • general electives which allow students to explore individual public health interests and acquire skills specific to his/her professional goals.

We offer a wide range of academic options and encourage you to explore the links above to learn more about what the NYU MPH has to offer.
