How to Apply

The NYU MPH requires that students apply to one of our three concentrations using an online application. To be considered for review, a complete application must be submitted by the appropriate deadlines.  Please see below for specific concentration requirements and application instructions.

Eligibility
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university. International candidates must hold the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree.

Application Requirements

  • Completed online application, including the personal statement and resume or curriculum vitae 
  • Official transcripts from each post-secondary institution attended
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Official GRE scores taken within the past 5 years.  The GRE must be taken again if your GRE scores are older than 5 years.  When ordering test reports from ETS, you must include the proper institution code for the NYU MPH (8752)  
  • TOEFL scores from international applicants for whom English is not the native language (required). When ordering test reports from ETS, you must include the proper institution code for the NYU MPH (8752)  
  • A non-refundable application fee of $75 payable by major credit card, check or money order made payable to New York University

Important dates and deadlines:

Application for Fall 2012 is now open.  Applications for Fall 2012 admission will be due by February 1st, 2012.
